From the wool/alpaca/poly. yarn pictured two post ago I've very quickly made these socks. The quality of the yarn makes the socks look like they are frozen.
The pattern is Cable Twist Socks from HipKnits, I used 3mm bamboo needles.
I've also balled the yarn I dyed the other day. So I can safely say I'm "armed" for February Socktopia.
I have a lace stitch pattern in mind and will make my own sock pattern out of this I think.

I'm so jealous of your snow! We had a few flurries this week, but not even enough to cover the grass... didn't stop me from pulling out the wool sweaters and socks though!
The cabled socks are lovely, and the dyed yarn is PERFECT for February's Socktopia themes! I can't wait to see what you come up with!
One more thing - I'm going to be posting some yarn choices for you on my blog this evening... stop by and take a look!
Ummm... that doesn't look like you photoshopped! Gorgeous socks, but get back inside and have some hot chocolate right this minute, or you'll catch your death out there!!!
The yarn you dyed looks great. It's such a warm color.
Flotte sokker! Helgeklem fra din hemmelige venn :-)
Love those socks! Just printed out a copy of the pattern, now the big decision - do I finish something first or just cast these on?
that color is beautiful! I love the hand-dyed too.
Oh brrr! I love them!!
